Just wanted to drop a note to say it is good to see WR is coming back out on a more regular schedule and that it is now being hand drawn. No more illustrator for you! Keep up the great work and keep them coming.
BTW... I heard rumors that was talk of a animated WR in the works... any truth to this?

Yeah. It's pretty important to me to maintain the weekly schedule right now, and hopefully increase that in the future. I think a lot about hearing about pro's who slaved away at their craft for hours and hours and hours a day and wonder if my social life gets in the way of my goals, and how they handled their social interactions when they were my age.
Re: WR Animated? Can't say for sure.

4 weeks in a row now. Keep it up!
To hell with social interactions, your art comes first. Put down your plastic 5 button guitar and pick up a pencil.

I used to go to the bar and draw while I had a drink or two or so, but a recent smoking ban had me working at home more often. Mysteriously enough, I'm pushing out some better quality of work.
It helps to really put your nose to the grindstone and do the art 36 chamber style, but just as important is knowing when you can take a break and take advantage of that time to relax.

The balance between work and not work has plagued me for awhile. I seem to err on too much work. I just feel like I am not using my time to its' fullest unless I am working all the time. But enough of my issues...
All I am saying is that just like sports, music, science, kung-fu ... anything that you are passionate about and want to succeed at, takes time and energy to ensure you are competent on a professional level.
Well.... back to work for me... draw draw draw...

Heh, I'd like to say I'm too addicted to work, but that sexy PS2 and its siren call pulls me in a bit too much. Get your filthy paws off of me you damn dirty Ape Escape!
Working ten hour shifts doesn't really help all that much either, but it's almost worse to have a reasonable excuse rather than just a lack of motivation.
